Omar's Exotic Birds is more than just a bird store, it's a great place to visit. The birds are out on perches where visitors can interact with them - gently, of course! The birds are very friendly and beautiful.
Omar holds bird seminars at Zoomars in San Juan Capistrano a couple of times a year. These are intended for bird owner's to learn about their pets and meet one another.
Warning: Shameless plug ahead. If you do want to get a bird, I've heard that Omar's is an excellent place to get a well cared-for and socialized bird.
